Abstract: Millimeter-wave 5G brings the promise of Gbps data rates with ultra-low latency, potentially enabling transformative new applications, such as autonomous driving, virtual and augmented reality, and massive IoT. However, millimeter-wave technology is challenged by high propagation loss, blockage issues, poor coverage and link robustness, high power consumption, and high deployment costs. MixComm's innovative and patented RFIC and system technologies directly address these issues, enabling practical widespread millimeter-wave deployments. This talk will provide an overview of MixComm's technology, ranging from technology to circuits and systems.
