High Resolution 140GHz MIMO Radar for Contact-less Vital Sign Monitoring and Hand Gesture Recognition
Highly miniaturized mm-wave radars become important in many industrial, medical and consumer applications. In this talk, we will present 140GHz radar, with over 10GHz of bandwidth that can be used for many applications. The radar chip was realized in a 28nm bulk CMOS process. We have used the radar chip in several configurations, including SISO and MIMO. It features exceptional resolution in all domains. Examples of vital sign monitoring and hand gesture recognition, using this radar chip, will be shown.
