Study of 3D-Printed Helical-Microstrip Transmission Lines
This paper presents a preliminary study of the electrical performance of 3D-printed helical microstrip transmission lines. The characteristic impedance and the electrical length of helical microstrip transmission line segments are analyzed. Our aim is to assess their usability to implement compact RF components and circuits, such as power dividers/combiners and impedance transformers, in the frequency range of hundreds of MHz.
