A 79-GHz Scalable FMCW MIMO Automotive Radar Transceiver Architecture with Injection-Locked Synchronization
This paper describes a 79 GHz four transmit, four receive channels automotive frequency modulated continuous wave multi-input-multi-output radar integrated circuit based on 20 GHz injection lock oscillator (ILO). The proposed architecture enables the cascading of multiple transceiver (TRX) chips in a daisy chained manner where each TRX chip is injection locked to the previous one. System architecture and circuit design of ILO has been described in detail with the measurement results.
