All-Digital and Low Cost SDRs Applied to Backscatter Transceivers

In this talk the use of low cost Software Defined Radio solutions and all-digital radios for the implementation of backscatter radio transceivers will be presented. The use fully digital processing architectures and/or simplistic SDR solutions, combined with different modulations and waveforms will be discussed by presenting some practical applications of such a radio solutions in a smart city environment.
